The purpose of the Transition Academy is to provide professional development that will enhance the effectiveness of transition planning in order to ensure successful post-school outcomes for students with disabilities.
This fourth session will focus on
- Exploring programs for students aged 18-21 being served by public schools;and Sharing existing programs in the KC area such as school-based enterprises, job shadowing, and Job Olympics.
Representatives from Vocational Rehabilitation and similar organizations will receive discounted a registration fee of $25.00.
